You can start a simple disciple-making church anywhere and soon!
The whole program will be translated simultaneously into English!
Master Jesus tells his disciples: “Going, make disciples, baptizing them… and teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you.” (Matthew 28:18-20)
Then, in the book of Acts, we observe that when the disciples did this, in their footsteps churches formed primarily of new disciples.
This model inspires us greatly. It begins with abundant sharing of the Good News, and with growth of new disciples. Then new disciple-making churches are formed in new places.
What will happen there
- The weekend is dedicated to studying biblical principles of spiritual movement. The Word of God still may surprise you!
- We will examine how Jesus’ mission was fulfilled by Jesus himself and by His disciples.
- We will look at what the apostle Paul did so that in a few decades a large area from Jerusalem to Illyria was covered with the Gospel (Romans 15:19).
- What functions did the first church have? What did she do?
- We will briefly experience how a discipleship church meeting can work in our time.
- We will hear short stories from Czech experience.
- Jeff Timblin from California promised to participate. He initiated and supports a growing network of disciple-making churches in his region.
- Brutal facts about the Czech Republic as a field white for harvest (John 4:35).
- Big vision, clear path, simple steps.
- Interactive cooperation in teams or groups around tables.
- We will look for specific ways to apply these biblical principles in our time.
- Informal disciple-making churches can be started by virtually any disciple of Jesus.
- A network of mutual support is very important in this – for leaders and entire communities.
- The weekend will include an offer of follow-up consultations and help.
- The entire weekend will be intense, biblical, practical, energizing, transforming, with people devoted to Jesus and to the vision of winning the Czech Republic and Slovakia for Jesus.
When and where
- Location: Prague, Czech Republic, street: Ječná 19 (Praha, Ječná 19)
- We start on Friday, October 2nd at 5:00 PM. We will finish on Sunday, October 4th, 2026 around 1:00 PM.
- Deadline for applications: September 13th, 2026 or when the limit of 40 people is reached.

- For those who sense urgency of Jesus’ Great Commission and have accepted personal involvement in the task of making and building disciples for Him (Matthew 28:18-20).
- For anyone who cares that people without Jesus are lost, and who wants to do something practical about it.
- For those who are active in winning unbelievers for Jesus in any way.
- For graduates of the Bridges to People training. Planting disciple-making churches builds on the skills and principles for making and building disciples “from the outside.”
- Do you have people around you who are spiritually interested but who are not coming to your church? You will discover practical opportunities how to create a new fellowship right around them.
- Are you tired from organizing events or programs? Planting a disciple-making church is all about Jesus and people. It is not as complicated as it might seem.
- Bring a partner or a whole team with you; it will help you to move towards a change.

Background
- Small personal preparation – for maximum benefit.
- The weekend takes place in the premises of the Evangelical Methodist Church in Prague, Ječná 19.
- Everyone arranges their own accommodation and transportation.
- Small snacks and drinks (coffee, tea, soft drinks) will be available throughout the event.
- Saturday lunch will be in the form of pizza together on site.
- The cost of the entire weekend for one participant is approximately CZK 1,000 (US$ 50). The contribution can be made by voluntary collection: QR code or cash on the spot, or you can donate to the account. More about finances is HERE..

The weekend will include an offer of follow-up consultations and support.
We work on a follow-up meeting in January 2027; mainly for those who will practically try out the principles from the weekend, in their environment.
A network of mutual support is important, of leaders and teams that make disciples, build them and help create new disciple-making churches.
